The first phase of Woodland Shores included 28 fully serviced lakefront homesites, each with private lakefront. The riparian areas within each lot were protected by covenant to ensure a healthy future for Cowichan Lake, and other covenanted protections ensured no indirect impacts would occur to this pristine body of water. Architectural contracts provided guidance on designs while not removing individuality and uniqueness of each home.
