NO. The Cabin Collection is located within the CVRD which is not an urban area subject to the proposed Speculation Tax. In addition, with all inclusive pricing, the total cabin cost is below the $400,000 threshold for the speculation tax.
The amenities include a main clubhouse, 2 outdoor pools & 2 hot tubs, cardio studio, games room, patios, washrooms, change rooms, covered patio, outdoor kitchen, horseshoe pitch, and bocce court. There is a private south facing beach and swimming area for the exclusive use of owners and their guests. The multipurpose Lakehouse provides a large viewing platform, bathroom and storage lockers for your beach and lake toys, and individually assigned moorage for your boat or watercraft.
Yes, this is a lake-front community on Cowichan Lake. All lots within the Cabin Collection enjoy access via the common beach.
Yes, all cabins include the exclusive use of your own private boat slip.
No. The cabins are standard residential construction conforming to the BC Building Code and are built on a permanent concrete foundation; complete with rain-screen technology.

Each Cabin site has its own private yard space to enjoy the great outdoors. Landscaping has been designed to create a low maintenance environment, so owners can spend their time playing or relaxing.
No. Cabins are sold finished, including the loft. Owners can choose from three upgraded loft layouts, and optional second bathroom, for an additional cost.
No. Our professional design team has fully designed the Cabins inside and out to create a relaxing environment that complements the natural surroundings. All design materials have been carefully selected to minimize maintenance and maximize style.
Yes, your family can come and go as they please, year-round. This is full ownership, and ownership is NOT limited within a calendar year.
Yes, the Cabin Collection is a strata. You own and are responsible for your own cabin. Each cabin will have a private yard space for your exclusive use. Shared assets include; roads, services and amenities (Club House, Lake House, Pools, Private Beach, and Marina).
Monthly strata fees are divided into two categories, operational fees and insurance fees for your cabin. The operational fees are projected to be $100, this equal contribution by all owners covers the operation costs for the maintenance and operating expenses for all common amenities and common property areas. The insurance fees for your cabin are projected to be $35, this insurance covers major perils such as fire, flood and earthquake. The total monthly fees are therefore projected to be $135.
It is Cowichan Valley Regional District policy that short-term rentals of less than 30 days are not permitted.
